Autofill of the email addr

Some Newbies's Qs.

I am using OL 2003.

Email addresses will autofill the email addr when I type in the address.
Is this popup addr resided in cache? If yes, how long will it reside?

Thanks
Seow

It is kept in a cache indeed. The cache file has a nk2-extension. It will
reside in the cache untill it's full. This is limited up to 1000 addresses.

A clarification on Roady's response. The names will continue to reside in
the cache even when the cache has reached its limit of 1,000 names.
However, each new entry will force the oldest entry to be deleted from the
cache, maintining that 1,000 name ceiling.
