Automatic Away message

We are trying to setup the automatic away message for
Outlook 2000. I have gone through the help menus at the
Microsoft site. It says that there should be a check box,
but it is not an option. It also says that I should be
able to turn the option on, but I have not been able to.
Has anyone else had a problem with this or know how to
solve it. I appreciate the help.

Thanks

If you are not using Exchange Server, you cannot use this option.

What is an exchange server???

An Exchange server is a computer running Microsoft Exchange acting as the
delivery location for your Email. It is usually present in corporate mail
environments. If you're using Outlook on a home PC it is most likely that
you will NOT have Exchange.
