Automatic email from Access

I have an automatic mailer designed to send out an automatic email from
Access using Outlook. My question is this, Can I link the automatic email to
a specific field in Access named 'due date' and have the email sent out on
that date?

I would imagine you would need an 'event' to be triggered when sys date =
due date, that starts the mail process
