Automatic Placement of Insertion Point when Opening Template

Is there a way to have the insertion point automatically
placed in a specific location when opening a template?

Bob,

Yes. Bookmark the desired insertion point then record a
macro of the sets to GoTo the named bookmark. Name the
macro AutoNew.

So far so good! Now how do I get the Macro to execute
automatically upon creating a new document from the
template?

If put the macro code in an AutoNew() macro it will fire
when a new document is created.
