Automatic Resource Tracking

Let's say I have 100 beds to accommodate my various crews. As each task
begins or ends, beds need to be assigned or released. If I know how many
beds each task requires, can I set something up to automatically calculate
and display how many beds are being used at any given time during my project?

Go to the resource sheet and create Bed as a resource.
Assign "Bed" as needed. 100% =1 bed, 2 beds would be 200%. You can assign
resources to each of your tasks.

On the resource sheet, you can specify the Max Units --- such as this
establishment may have 20 beds available ---- this would be 2000%.

Go to Resource Graph. Look for the bed resource and it will tell you the
number of beds in use at any one time as a percentage. It will even tell you
(with some minor tweaks) if you have beds over allocated or if beds are still
available. Try right clicking in the graph area and that should give you
some display options.
