Automatic "Update Now" in Distribution Lists

Is it possible to program Outlook to automatically update distribution lists
instead of having to go in to each one and click "Update Now"? I'd like to
set it to happen every 30 minutes without human intervention.

I doubt it.
I have yet to see even the manual "Update Now" ever actually do anything.
This feature is broken for most users.
