Automaticly add new record

i have two tables i'm working with called "Pt" and "Ot" they have a one to
many relationship and are connected using a "Part Id" Everytime i add a new
record to the Pt table I would like it to automaticly add a record call blank
to the Ot table. I have no idea how to start righting this code.

Why?

Creating an empty "placeholder" record is essentially *never* necessary. They
have a bad way of never getting filled in. The record in Ot should exist only
when there's something to put into it; this can easily be done by using a Form
for Pt with a Subform for Ot, using Part ID as the master/child link field.

If this isn't suitable please explain your reasoning for having a record in
your table with nothing in it.
