Automating outlook account setup

D

Doug

I need to configure 50 machines purchased with Office 2003 OEM.

Is there an easy way to automate the process of setting up the Exchange
account in Outlook? For example, a command with switches, or perhaps a
registry hack?

Thanks

You must use an enterprise Office version to set up automatic profile
configurations. See the Office Resource Kit for additional information.
You might be able to write a logon script that would automate it but I tend
to doubt it. OEM Office installations are always problematic in a corporate
setting.
