Automation of Hyperlinks in MS-Word

Prashanth KR

Hi,

I have a Word document which has a number of articles having different
"Headings". I need to create a Hyperlink to each of these headings by first
bookmarking it and then hyperlink to (the customized heading). Is there a way
so that I can Hyperlink these headings say around 25 articles, without going
through the process for each article.

for eg. I have a following article in the below mentioned order:

Introducing Our New Company Rating System
By Prashanth KR
The Times of India
August 23, 2007

…….
.........
.........
......... and the full article follows.

I need to put this as a hyperlink in the following format at the top of my
first page of MS-Word.

i.e., Publication name – Article Heading (MM.DD.YY) as given below:

The Times of India – Introducing Our New Company Rating System (08.23.07)

(Please note this has to be automatically formatted and hyperlinked to the
above heading of the full article).

(I could have done this with inserting TOC) but since the format of the
heading in the first page differs from that of the original heading, I have
to hyperlink it).

I shall be very much privileged if you could help me out in this.
Prashanth KR.
