I am trying to print on an avery brand 8683 which is not already listed in
publisher how can I get it to print on that format?

I've looked all over for this label and cannot find a sample. What are the
measurements of the label? There usually is an equivalent in the Avery
choices.

Either find another Avery template size and format that matches what you are
using to do a custom setup in Publisher. Look at help in publisher for
doing that. Since when I search on Avery's web site I do not find any
reference to 8683 I suspect it may also help to give us the type of product
and make sure you give the proper product code.

Double check that number. I suspect you've got something mixed up.
