BAC Values will not update properly

[MSP2002 and server 2002] I have added tasks to an existing schedule and then
rebaselined (to baseline 1) to track the additions as agreed and not
"variances". The Estimate at complete (EAC) field updates properly, but the
budget at complete (BAC) field does not update, nor does the summary task
assocuited with the added tasks. I used the correct (new) baseline in my EVA
calculations, so does anyone have any ideas how I can get teh BAC field to
update properly? Thanks,

Earned value uses the Baseline fields unless you indicate otherwise. You
put your new baseline into Baseline 1. The better way is to move the old
baseline into Baseline 1 to store your audit trail, then save the new one
into the plain Baseline fields thus overwriting the old one there. Now your
"active" baseline, which would include the new BAC, will be in the Baseline
fields while the old one, no longer valid but retained for historical
purposes, will be in Baseline 1.
