back button and radio button state

Fred

I use radio buttons on a form page to set criteria for the next page, the
default is Button 1 checked. If the user selects Button 2, views page 2,
then navigates back to the form using the Back button, Button 2 is checked.
How do I force a return to the default Button 1 checked?

The person would have to click a link the reload the page and not use the browser or history back.

Is there a way to disable the back button? I would like to bullet proof
this thing.
