Background Animation

I cannot figure out how to make a background animation in powerpoint. I'm
using Mac Office X.

When I try format:slide background:background fill:fill effectsicture. I can
open an animated GIF. But when the slide show plays, the background stays
on the first image of the GIF.

Any ideas how I can get this to work?

I'm sorry you are having difficulties David.

Perhaps the best place to get a solid answer is the PowerPoint for Mac
group.

Being a PC person, I know that Gif animated pictures have been supported in
the PC versions since 2000 (normal slide or master), but I am not up on the
Mac side of things. You can wait for one of our Mac brothers to stop by
here, or post your inquiry there. The latter will probably yield faster
results.
