Background colour not painting consistently

Pub Question

I have inserted a background colour but it doesn't display fully on all
pages. You have to refresh to get the colour to paint. It seems to be
affected by text boxes on the screen.
Any ideas?

Sounds like you are having video driver issues.
Try this, slide the acceleration down on your adapter, control panel, display
folder, settings tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab.
If this works then go to the manufacturer's web site of your graphics card and
look for a newer driver.

This did not help, I changed the acceleration tab and also did an upgrade on
the graphics card but it still leaves the background not painting properly
beside text boxes. Still if I hit refresh it will paint properly. Any
further ideas?

It is not my graphics card it happens to other people's computers and in fact
does not happen when viewed in Firefox (recognizing that you maybe don't want
to discuss FireFox behaviour :))
The area that does not paint correctly seems somehow related to the inserted
textboxes or menu items as it is primarily to the right of my header text box
and below my menu boxes but to the left of a contact box and horizontal menu
item.

You completely failed to mention that the issue occured when viewing in a
web browser rather than when viewing in Publisher. Mary (and I also)
therefore assumed that the problem occurred in Publisher, not in your
browser. Which is why we didn't discuss FireFox behaviour (or any other
browser behaviour for that matter).

I did not realize from your first posting this was a web page issue.
There is a Publisher Web Design newsgroup.

Do you have any idea what might be causing this - sorry I didn't mean to
offend with the Firefox comment - I am really just seeking help. sorry
realize that I should have stated that it was in the web browser that the
behaviour was the problem.
