Background printing

[Supersecy]

I have some text in the background that I have shaded a very light gray. I then went to the foreground and typed black and bold over top of it. When viewing it looks fine but the background still prints in black. It's very frustrating and is driving me crazy - can anyone help? Thanks...

Suersecy it is a function of your printer and HP never fixed that issue.
The best way to overcome your issue is to fill the Text with a Pattern.
You will need to use WordArt to do that.

Are you using a laser printer? If so what model? Are your settings set
to RAW output? What version of Windows are you using?
What version of Publisher are you using?
What happens if you print to a different printer (if available)
