I am changing the background colors on my home page. Why
doesn't it carry over to the rest of the pages? It looks
like I have to do each page individually.

Hi Gil,

To accomplish you'll need to change each page or use an external CSS file
with JimCo Style Linker Addin

Because sometimes the designer wouldn't want that.

Yes, unless you use linked style sheets or a Theme.

Every page is an individual document. If you want them all to change, just create a simple theme
with the backgroudn you want. Then wen you want a new one, change the theme and it will change
everything,
