backing up emails?

Hi all,

I have read that archiving and importing/exporting can produce
corrupted data. What is the best way to save emails for later
retrival?

Unless you are using Exchange, or have manually moved your pst file, it is
located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\{your user name here}\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\
(If using Windows XP that is.....)

Also, within OL check properties of the pst.
or by using Mail Applet in the control panel
