Backup and Restore Project Server 2007 / SQL Server 2005

Rob

If I back up my SQL databases from PRD [Publish, Archive, Reports, Draft] and
restore them to Training [PublishT, ArchiveT, ReportsT, DraftT] are there any
other steps I need to do?
I want to use the Projects, Resources, and Reports already developed in PRD
and move them to Training each month.

Rob,

Unfortunatly moving a prod stystem into a Test system is not that easy. It
is a long and difficult road if you want to migrate your complete prod into
training.

Having said that, from what I understand you are only after the settings of
the prod environment. That is actually fairly easy, thanks to Microsofts
"Project 2007 Project Resource Kit".
Check out this link and I am sure you will find it most useful if you only
want to move configuration settings:

Hope this helps

I would just make a comment here that there are issues with the Playbook
tool. It does not handle custom fields with formulas very well.
