backup file

could somebody tell me how to backup only the inbox and outbox folders in
outlook 2003. I realize the complete file is in the Local
settings/Microsoft/outlook folder and it is the .pst file but is there a way
to just back up those couple folders? That .pst file is to large to burn to
a CD so we want to elimnate backing up unnecessary files. Thanks.

You'll either have to clean up the file, use Export to pst or use a
compressing tool like WinZip or WinRAR before burning to CD.
