Backup pst folders in Outlook 2007

In Outlook 2002 and 2003 you could go to MS and download a file that would
allow you back up all folders and files. Is there any avaliable backup
solution for 2007.

Use the same file, pfbackup.exe. See this page for assistance:

I have installed and uninstalled this add-in 5 times and nothing happens. I
runs and installs but I never get the backup option in the file menu. This
gets so frustrating. This should be a very simple process but it never works.
In reading some of the comments at the URL you gave me it appears others have
had the same issue, while others get it to install perfectly. Is there a
soultion to get it working when it does not install correctly?

You might try this;
The add-in may not be registered correctly. So, try registering the dll with
the following steps.

1. Exit Outlook.
2. On the Start menu click Run
3. In the Open box type the following and click OK.

regsvr32 "c:\program files\microsoft office\office\addins\outbak.dll"

NOTE: You may need to adjust the above path to Outbak.dll to match the
location on your computer.

4. After running the command line start Outlook.

Milly,

I am a idiot, your instructions work perfectly if you read and follow them.
I got frustrated when I clicked on the link to download the software because
it took me back to the same site I had been to multiple times. The key to
your responce is to follow the directions below step one in the URL you
provided.

Double-click pfbackup.msi and follow the prompts to install it.
In Outlook 2007, choose Tools | Trust Center and choose Add-ins from the
navigation list on the left.
At the bottom of the Add-ins screen, under Manage, select COM Add-ins and
click Go.
On the COM Add-ins dialog, click Add and navigate to the C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE12\ADDINS folder. Select outbak.dll and click
OK. When you return to the COM Add-ins dialog, you should see a new entry,
Outlook Backup Addin, with its check box checked.
Click OK to close the COM Add-ins dialog.

Glad you finally got it working.

I am having the same type of problem except that while using 2007 i can not
use pfbackup at all. it keeps giving me the message that the outlook.pst is
allocated and can not be copied and gives a error message of 0x80070021. Has
anyone had this problem?
