Backup utility

I installed the auto backup utility for Outlook. Instead
of backing (when I exit Outlook) Iget a message which
states "Cannot copy Outlook: The process cannot access
the file because another process has locked a portion of
the file". I have nothing else open.

It sounds like Outlook is not exiting properly and still
has the PST file locked. PST Backup will throw this
error message if the PST file is still locked after 2
minutes of exiting Outlook. You can verify whether
Outlook is still in memory by going to the Task Manager,
usually accessible by hitting CTRL-ALT-DEL, depending on
the version of Windows you're using.

Do you have a PDA synched up with your PC? That will produce this symptom.
