Being able to read attachments sent to me

Can anyone clue me in on how to prevent OE from
automatically stripping all attachments which I receive
with emails? I can't find anything in the help menu to
give me any ideas.
I certainly want to scan all attachments, but I have to
be able to open them as well and OE seems to disable them
automatically.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, what's the best migration (old hard drive to new
hard drive) software around.

in the future, but note that now that your address is out there, there's not
much you can do other than changing your address.
