Blank Email message body

This is VERY odd! I type a message normally (Reply or
original) send it & it arrives at destination blank, and
when I look in "sent" folder, it also shows blank. Header
is filled in but nothing in message body. Anybody any
ideas? Running Win XP Pro and MS Outlook 2003
Tried it on messages to myself & it's the same.
I've obviously set something wrong - but what?
