Blank Page

Alex

When I start a new Project file, or open an existing file, I am presented
with a blank (no grid etc) page. How do I show the gantt and other
information in the file. I have tried using View/Gantt, etc but nothing
shows.

A blank project has no tasks, so none show.
If you open a file where you know it has tasks but you are not seeing them....
you may have a filter applied. Look for a column with a blue header font.
On autofilter select the show all on that column.

Hello Alex,

The first step is to make sure you have the latest service pack applied
to whatever version of Project you are using. For Project 2003, this is
service pack 2, for Project 2002, Service Pack 1.

If you have the latest service pack applied, and you are running Project
2003, there is a Knowledge Base article that describes a possible fix.

See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/891170/en-us

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
