Blanking "NA" from view in date fields

When I add the Actual Start and Actual Finish date columns to my project
plan, the field defaults to NA. Is there any way to have the field appear
blank? I don't care if there is underlying data.
I generally print my plans, but trying to save paper, I do a 'fill in the
blank" and periodically print a new copy. It would also makes for easier
viewing and easier to see visually that stuff isn't done.

A blank is always represented by NA in those fields.
The only way I know to make them not show up is to select the column, go to
format menu, then select font and set the font color to white.
Of course, you need to set it back to a visible color when you have real
data.

Hi
As Jack has said, it is not possible to remove NA from the column.

But, if you are finding difficult to do 'fill in the blanks' with NA written
in the cells, add two Text columns in your view with titles 'Site/Team Actual
start' and 'Site/Team Actual finish' to differentiate from Actual Start and
Actual Finish columns. The text columns would be blank and you could do
'Fill in the blanks' in these columns. Then transfer this data in the
required cols.

I hope it helps

I suppose it was wishful thinking on my part. oh well
yes that is an option, but as I distribute the file, it's not worth the
trouble.
