After managing to set up OE-QuoteFix on his new PC, Ed reads a message
from Joanne Ramaekers said:
We have document that has been done in a booklet format.
Which is all nice, but we don't have the gear to create
the booklet. We like the format, but instead of it
printing page 1&20 on the same page, we would like it to
print page 1&2 on the same page.
This is not booklet format. To create a booklet, the document must (in
virtually all reasonable circumstances) be laid out as Publisher lays it
out.
It isn't difficult to print it on both sides of the paper. If you have a
printer, you can print double sided. So you do have the gear.
Take page 1 as it comes out, turn it over, allow the printer to print page
2.
Or, print one copy of the booklet, turn over the stack (re-ordering the
pages if necessary), and reprint, giving two copies duplexed.
Or, print one page, saying "No" to print as separate booklet, multiple
times, turn the stack over, do the same for page 2. Then ditto page 3/4,
5/6 all the way to half-way through your publication (where, in your case,
pages 10/11 will come out) - as obviously going further would repeat what
you have already printed.
