Books for Mac Excel 2008

I have been trying to find a book on the more advanced features of excel,
since I last used it about ten years ago on a pc. I have the mac 2008
version but cannot seem to find any books for it at the moment. Is Excel
2007 and Mac Excel 2008 similar enough that I can buy an Excel 2007 book, or
are they too different for this to be practical.

They are too different. You'd be better off buying a book for XL03 or
for Office 2004 (don't remember seeing any books specifically on XL04)
and using Help.

I know O'Reilly's planning on coming out with a book on Office 08 in a
month or so. Don't know about others, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Thanks I was a little surprised there was not one or too available at the
time it was released. Usually it is a great opportunity, particularly where
the product is significantly different from the previous release.
Surprising Microsoft Press (or whatever they are called now) didn't have
something being prepared.

Looks like PeachPit is coming out with one too.

AFAIK, MS Press hasn't had a MacOffice book for years.
