Borderless printing

Using Publisher 97 and an Epson C83 which allows borderless printing up to
A4 size paper, I would like to be able to print Christmas cards without the
white border showing. Either a full page of colour, or a picture without the
white border.
I feel that if I can save the publication somewhere into a more universally
used file format, say .jpg, I would then be able to get my printer software
to do the job I want.
How do I save a .pub file as .jpg please.
With thanks,
Dave Isaacs.

Under File > Print, choose Properties, and look for a setting marked "Use
expanded print area" (or similar)

Publisher 97 does not offer options to automatically save as an image,
however using a program such as GhostScript (www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/) in
conjunction with GSView (available at the same site); or SnagIt from
www.techsmith.com; or FinePrint from www.fineprint.com, you can "print" to a
virtual printer driver which captures the file and converts it to an image
format.

Old man turns to old wife and exclaims "That Ed is smarter than Me"
It is so simple Ed, and works. That is using the printer software. Thanks
from downunder! Why didn't I try that????
I will look at the PDF options you suggested for future reference.
Dave.
