borders and shading

I recently downloaded an old website into frontpage to
redesign. Now, the borders and shading option is dim. I
can not put borders around pictures, cells or tables. I
have tried reinstalling - Any suggestions?

Try this

For Tables: Right Click the Table and select table properties, on borders select 1 for border siz

For Cells: Click inside the cell you wish to place a border on, Go to Table > Select Cell > Then go to your borders and select the style

For Images: Right click the image > go to picture properties > specify a bordeer size

If these don't help, try going to Tools > Browser Compatibility and change it to custo
