Borders

Hi,

I wonder how you would implement background borders in a
word document? Is it possible or do you have to use
another products such as Publisher, which I don't prefere.

How if I wanted to add some own borders, let's say some
indian pattern?

Unlike Publisher, Word does not allow you to create custom Border Art, but
you can add a page border as a "watermark." Create your art (or find a clip
art border) and insert it in the document header (View | Header | Insert |
Picture | From File). In Word 2000 and above, it will be inserted inline,
and you will need to change the wrapping to "Behind Text" to make it float
on the page. Because it is anchored to the header paragraph, it will repeat
on every page.
