Thanks, Tom. I don't know if I can properly explain this, or somehow send
you
my FrontPage files, but, yes, the table heights are fixed in the layout
cells, by design. The problem is that the text I place in the cells, for
example, the right side column, fills the column completely with all the
correct spacing in both design and preview views in FrontPage, but when I
upload it to my server, suddenly there is a huge blank space below the
last
entry, partly because all of the text formatting has been changed. In my
design I am using Tahoma, 8 pt font and a line will appear as -
"Basic listings are free", with the next word "and" starting the next
line,
but on the site, the line now reads, "Basic listings are free and include"
so
that creates all the blank space at the bottom of the column. I have
looked
at my table formatting, font formattting, just about everything I can
think
of, and don't understand why it is so completely different.
I'm including some sample coding for the text in the upper right hand
column, just so you can see if you see what might be causing the problem -
<td height="814" valign="top">
<p style="margin-top: 4px; margin-bottom: 0; margin-left:6px;
margin-right:6px">
<font face="Tahoma">
<strong><span style="color: #808000">
<font style="font-size: 7pt">Business
Directory</font></span></strong></p>
<p style="margin-top: 4px; margin-bottom: 0; margin-left:6px;
margin-right:6px">
<strong style="font-weight: 400">
<span style="color: #808000; text-decoration: underline">
<font style="font-size: 7pt">Basic
Listing</font></span></strong><font style="font-size: 7pt"
color="#808000"><br>
Basic listings are FREE and include the
business name, address, phone numbers
and email address. Please just send us
your contact information.<br style="line-height:15px">
<img alt="" src="images/a4.gif" style="margin-left:70px;
margin-right:3px"></font><font><a href="#" ><font style="font-size: 7pt"
color="#808000">Send info
Thanks for your help.

Since the table is a fixed height (900 pixels) wouldn't that explain all
of
the blank space?

: PLEASE, I will send CASH, okay, check maybe, to anyone who can solve my
: problem. I have spent months building a site in FP 2003 using the
layout
: tables, but when I upload it to my server, the carefully done layouts
are
all
: vastly different. If you look at a page on my site, for example,
:
http://www.helloboquete.com/index-5.html, you will see large areas of
blank
: space, none of which are in my design. I have looked at every single
line
of
: code and cannot figure out why it is all different on my server.
HELP!!!
We
: want to launch the site next week if at all possible.
:
: I will put you in my will! Okay, that might not be a good thing for
you.
Too
: many bills.
