Built team issue

Arnoud

Hello,

I have an issue when I use the built team tool in Project server 2003
It always displays an error messsage:

An import error occurred.
Check row XXXX column ASSN_REG_WORK.
This is not a valid work value or it is outside the range for this column.
....
To continue importing with additional error messages, click Yes. To continue
importing with no error messages, click No. To stop importing, click Cancel.

If someone faces the same issue thanks to share how to solve it

Regards

Arnoud,

I did had the same issue with one of my projects. I did what I call
round-triping the project.
1) Accept all the updates for Project
2) File > Save As > Save as File > Save as Type (.XML) [Save the file
locally as xml file ] Could take some few minutes depending on size of project
3) Delete the project from server (save a mpp copy before deleting from
server)
4) Re-import the project to enterprise using the option (Tools > Enterprise
options > import project to enterprise)
5) Re-Publish the project

PRECAUTION: First try this in your test environment and see if the issue is
resolved then perform the same in production.

Feel free to contact me at (e-mail address removed) if you have more questions.

Thanks for your answer.
I know the xml method used to repair corrupted files.
The issue occurs with the default plan:"project 1"
The problem is : now I have to find wich file is corrupted in the whole list.
