In the navigation pane folder list, only email folders appear. Contacts,
calender and tasks have all disappeared although I can access them using the
buttons at the bottom of the navigation pane. How do i get them back into the
folder list?

Rather a silly question possibly, but if you can access them via the buttons
at the bottom, what possible benefit is there in having them on display in
the folders view as well?

They should be there.

You can see the heirarchy of folders.

You can easilly drag from one folder to another, eg Inbox to Contacts, Inbox
to Tasks - and dro it into the correct destination folder (you may want to
drop it in a sub-folder for example).
