Hi all,
How do you calculate this?
How do you find out how much time you can crash a project?
I have been reading a bunch of sites and my book but still dont under stand
how to calculate the potential crash duration. I went here
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/FX100364361033.aspx
and found out some info but I dont under stand the section "create a crash
table" uner number 2 "You must calculate the potential crash duration for
each critical path task and the cost to crash each task. " I dont understand
how to get this number.

I really need this fast any help would be great.

Alas and alack! There's the rub. These numbers come only from
experience, there's no formula to determine how much a given set of
tasks can be crashed. Obviously, some kinds of tasks can be crashed
more than others, and more crashing of a project can be done under some
situations than others. That's where there's no substitute for a
knowledgeable PM/Scheduler. They know because they've been there
before.

Hope this helps in your world.
