Calculation Question

I have the following project which is finished. I have a section that I
have in all my projects (Non-Developer Software) where I have all the tasks
set at 0 days. If I don't put anything in the %Complete (0%) which should
be the same as 100%. But if I leave 0 in %Complete, I get 99% Complete in
the Testing Summary Task. If I change it to 100%, then I get 100% in the
Testing Summary task. Why is that?

Testing 4 days 99%
Developer Testing 4 days 100%
Test the Code 2 days 100%
Identify 0.5 days 100%
Modify Code 0.5 days 100%
Retest Code 1 day 100%
Non-Developer Testing 0 days 0%
Deployment 0 days 0%
Deploy Software 0 day 0%
Test Deployed Software 0 days 0%
Identify Anomalies 0 days 0%
Modify Code 0 days 0%
Retest Code 0 days 0%

Hello TShad,

In order for a summary task to be 100% complete, all subtasks (including
milestones) must be marked 100% complete. I'm afraid I can't answer the
"why" question -- yes, mathematically speaking 0% of 0 is the same as
100% of 0 :)

I would just filter the project for milestones and mark them 100%
complete as you finish each phase.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

That was what I figured.
