Calendar Questions

Tara Mattison

I did a search on Calendars in this newsgroup and read all
the threads about using multiple calendars but I still do
not feel confident I understand fully what is going on in
project.

There are two groups in my company: one that currently
uses PSWA and one that is in the process of experimenting
with it, while keeping all of their projects local for
now. Their project mgr called me in a panic because when
she launched Project, it prompts her to connect to the
server or "my Computer". When she selects the server the
only calendar is "standard" but when she selects "my
computer she gets the three choices: "Standard, 24 hours,
and Night Shift".

My question is, can we get those three calendars to be
available when connecting to the server, and if so, will
it mess anything up that already exists. Can you choose
different calendars and display all the info in PSWA
consistently?

Tara:

The only default enterprise calendar is "standard." If you want additional
calendars, you need to create them in the Enterprise Global.
