Calendar view won't change

in Calendar, am in a window to enter recurring events, can't get back to the
other calendar views, the option taskbar is gone ?? Please help
I usually work in the monthly view, went to add a recurring event, and am
stuck in that window with no option to return to the monthly view....tried
everything.

How are you trying to add a recurring event? In your monthly view, just
double-click on the date you wish, enter the info you wish, set the
recurrence as you wish, and then save. You're still in the monthly view.

To edit them - you can do the same thing, or you can change your view to
show Recurring Apppointments, work there, and then change back to your
preferred monthly view. It shouldn't do anything to toolbars....(not sure
what you mean by 'option taskbar')
