David,
If they did, sure, I would stop
them.

So if you or your loved one is attacked, it is not wrong to respond?
You people need to learn to love peace and forget about war and all those
mongrels that want to partake in it.

Do you really think Americans love war? Do you think, for a nanosecond
that fathers and mothers want to be separated from their families. Do
you look forward to going someplace so you can defend your wife? The
answer is, of course, Of Course not. My son doesn't want to kill people,
he would rather fix food for them. But if it comes down to it, yeah, he
will protect us, just as you said you would protect your wife. The only
difference between the soldiers, sailors and marines from the US and
other countries and you - you are willing to protect just the person who
means a bunch to you, the other men and women are willing to defend
those they represent.

Yes, it is a foreign concept to you, people caring about those they do
not know. That's the difference in our cultures. You are willing to pay
taxes to help those in need, we are willing to lay our life on the line

A parable for you: a pig and a chicken went to breakfast together and
both said they would show their willingness to put themselves in harm's
way. The pig ordered ham, the chicken ordered eggs.
Human rights, civility, peace among all people, and living in tune with
nature should be the main thrust of human beings.

When you can convince all humans on the planet of this, then Utopia will
be nigh. Until that day dawns, there will always be strife. Caring
people will try to make things better; isolationists will always proffer
that they aren't being affected, why should any action be taken, or in
some cases, that taking action to improve humanity is wrong.

Regards,

Mike

Good for you. You want to share your secret?
Our police are the trash of the earth and take that job as job of last
resort. Our police lie and are despicable rude ignorant poorly
educated failed fools that could not get a job in the real world -
just like those that join the military forces.
I see. Sounds like great peace and harmony.

°°°MS°Publisher°°°

Ed you need to realise only desperados join the police and military as they
are incapable of getting real proper productive jobs in the commercial
world. They are just unproductive leeches on the community.

We don't need a police force where we live and don't have one.

Sure Americans love war they cannot keep their noses out of it.
America starts a war whenever and wherever it can.
America needs war as an economic and employment instrument.
Don't just think about full scale wars, but all the war assistance you gave
to South America, Cuba conflict, Saddam Hussein in the earlier days etc.
etc.
You could not get into Iraq quickly enough and should never have gone.
"Weapons of mass destruction" intelligence made up by the CIA from the side
of a corn flakes packet so you could have an excuse to go to war in Iraq.
Now Iraq will be a worse case scenario in many ways than Vietnam ever was.

I was trying to point out that you aren't really living in peace and harmony
if you are persistenly making rude comments about your police force, and
they (so you say) to everyone else.

<snipped excellent letter>

Mike, I thought that was an excellent letter. And I am proud of my troops
and support them fully. Since I too was a troop (I was in desert storm for a
very short period of time as well!), I can feel their excitement through
this letter. After we returned from the storm, Governor Tommy Thompson came
and spoke with us, and many felt the same way. I am glad your son is out
their to protect us.

However, I will add my 2¢T (note the TM symbol since that is your newspaper
trademark). While I am glad the troops were happy with GB's visit, I
personally feel that George's main reason for visiting was a PR stunt for
his upcoming election (as was his flight onto the aircraft carrier). I don't
say this to bash the republican party because I would feel the same way had
any president done so, especially so close to election time. It makes me
cringe just thinking about the amount of money we are spending on this. I
wish we could help everyone here in the US first! 87 billion dollars can go
a long way here in the US to help those less fortunate.

Needless to say, I will surely fight for my freedom!

Have a nice weekend Mike!

Ed the police are called 'pigs' for all the right reasons - the trash of

bonsai bush never even really got elected
Of course it is an election stunt
You Americans will be spending a longer time in Iraq than Vietnam.
You made your bed in Iraq now you have to lie in it and pay dearly for it.
The bonsai bush administration is the worlds most dangerous weapon
presently - a weapon of mass destruction.

Well, if your society have trash and you can call members of your society
trash, it doesn't sound like peace and harmony.

°

°°°MS°Publisher°°°

Ed every society has their trash and some countries more than others.
Just look how you treat and speak about your trailer people.
I have yet to hear a good word spoken about them.
If you were a caring loving society you would improve their lot by giving
them proper homes at a very low cost.

Pardon? It seems that I have caught your selective hearing.
If you were a caring loving society you would improve their lot by
giving them proper homes at a very low cost.
a) I can't afford homes for the entire police force
b) We were talking about your police force, not mine
c) I don't think it's possible for me to be a caring loving society.

°

°°°MS°Publisher°°°

Ed you would not give the police force anything let alone homes.

I was talking about your trailer people and how you denigrate them all the
time. You Americans should give low cost or free housing to those people if
they cannot afford to buy a proper home. You could supply everybody that
needs a home in the US with all the money you are spending on war tools and
especially Iraq. About time countries got their priorities correct.
Houses for the under privileged should be a top priority and a mandate of
government. These houses should be totally environment friendly as possible
with 5kW of solar panels, solar hot water systems, environmental
toilets/lavatories so they do not have to pay for utilities.

Brian,

It could be a re-election stunt, but given that the election was just
short of a year away when he did it, that's an early start. It was also
a gutsy move (would have looked really bad had the plane been shot
down), as that bird that landed didn't coast in and people with weapons
had hit a plane just days before.

I can't put a finger on it, but my feelings are that Bush really does
care about the people serving in the military, as well as the protectors
(firemen and police officers) in this country.

Hope all is fine with you family and most of your Christmas shopping is
done. I've got to finish this issue and then I am done for the year.
Seems stupid to worry about publishing a paper on Christmas or New
Year's Eve.

Gutsy move HA HA HA the weak spineless gutless scum bag bonsai bush was a
pathetic little pansy wimp.

bonsai bush is only interested in himself and his pay packet and does not
care at all how many Americans are killed in war as the little spineless
wimp is to chicken to get out and get his hands dirty.

bonsai bush is just suckering you Americans for all he can get and many of
you people are swallowing the bull manure put out by the spin doctors.

And then there are those idiotic NG posters who speak from both sides of
their mouth, who don't have a clue about protecting family and friends
and spout nonsense about world affairs. It took you, David, three posts
to get up the courage to say that if your wife was attacked at a
restaurant, that you would come to her aid, if no one else did. Are all
Australians as spineless as you, or are you the abnormality? No need to
answer - we know.

Because I have a young daughter, I end up watching SpongeBob
SquarePants. I have a hard time deciding which character represents you
best - the jelly fish who have no spine and attack people then flit off
or Patrick, the star fish who doesn't have a brain but tries his best to
pretend he is smart.

You refuse to answer my e-mail messages to you, thus showing you have no
conviction of positions. I wonder why? Maybe because you prefer to hide
behind an anonymous user name and spout lies? Or, you like playing the
role of troll in this NG. C'mon, David. Put your mouth where your
fingers are. I would say it's the Australian way, but I know too many
people from your continent to paint you with the same brush. I hate to
point out the obvious, but you cannot debate a teenager or an old man.
All you can do is post stupid messages that you cannot defend.

Merry Christmas,

Mike

Have not had an e-mail message from you for ages.
We are not a spineless gutless nation at all and are a nation known to stand
up for their rights.

Why do you think there are both Democrat and Republican Senators that want
the Guantanamo Bay people that are held illegally in inhumane conditions
released. Those gutless spineless trash bullying yankee soldiers are
abusing and torturing those gentlemen being held there illegally.

People need to learn to live in peace with no wars.

David,

I sent it to the same address that I used when you requested I check on
the availability of a program, the same one Dale used to contact you.
The messages have not bounced back.

But that's okay. This has been a great day and it's just beginning.
Saddam has been caught and the people in Iraq are partying in the
street. Oh, and about polluting, I'm sure you're aware that Australia is
second in the world behind the good old US of A in per capita CO2
emissions:

David,

I responded to the e-mail messages you sent me. Are you paranoid so much
to change your e-mail address weekly? My address is (e-mail address removed).
Send me a message and I'll re-send the messages. Of course, if you are
afraid of debating a US citizen... I understand - and can see why.

Merry Christmas,

Thank You, David!
Wish we all live in nirvana like you apparently do. Wish, hope and pray that we all have the money to pursue nirvana like you apparently do. There is only one qaveate, 99% of the population that supports your rights to freely voice your opinions relies on free people that work for a living to supply you with this freedom. Don't get me wrong here, we too share your opinions on barter, grow food naturally, etc....
But, there comes a point where no understanding of other countries and cultures clouds you common freaking sense! Many Americans have children, friends, spouses in harms way and no matter the circumstances we will defend them, period!
Hopefully just as you would your own children, friends and spouses from your hometown.
