Can´t delete messages in Outlook

Hi,

we have a very seroius problem.
We have Exchange 5.5 and Outlook 98/2000.
If we try to delete/move more than one Message at the same
time, outlook is hanging and could only closed with the
task manager. By deleting only one message it works fine.
This problem occured after we received a lot (200 emails
per minute) of virus mails (the new Sobig.F).
Hope someone could help us.
