can´t print all pictures

A

Alex

Hi,

I have a big *.doc file (~200 pages) with a lot of pictures. All the
pictures are linked from the file, i.e. they are stored in some
directories on the hard disk. When I open the file and go to a
particular page of the document it takes some time before the pictures
load on that page and become visible. Now, when I´m trying to print
the file out, printer sees only those pictures that were loaded while
I was browsing the document. Those pages that I haven´t visited are
being printing out without pictures. So, before I print I have to go
through all the document and spend some time on each page to load its
pictures...

Why the printer (or software) doesn´t see all pictures?

Thanks.

Hi Alex,

It's possible that there's some corruption in the document,
but see if going to Tools=>Options=>Print and checking the box labeled
'Update Links' then printing helps.

No, it didn´t help. After checking "Update Links" when printing I have
a message ~ "Not enough memory to show or to print grafik" (and I have
a lot of memory!!!)

The thing is that this file was made under Word 95 (sorry, I didn´t
mention this before, but I didn´t realise that first). When I try to
save the file as Word 97 or RTF document all pictures change a little
their size (they are stretching), which is bad and I can´t print them
like that.

Thaks for any help.
