Can access data be transfered to outlook?

I would like to transfer names, addresses and phone numbers from an access
database to my contacts in outlook. I can not figure out how to do it. I am
using XP Professional. Seems like it should be an easy thing to do but I am
clueless.

There's a function in Outlook on the FILE menu where you can IMPORT/EXPORT
files.Select this tab,then select "Import from another file or location",then
select "Microsoft Access" and specify the database.
