can I add power point to MS Office basic edition

I am a student ,have a dell with MS office Basic edition 2003. That does not
come with power point. Can you suggest what I can do to have power
point...cheap? Is there a download for MS office?

You'll have to purchase PPT.

You need to purchase the full standalone PPT to use with Office Basic. Don't
get the upgrade version -- it won't work.

You might look into Office for Students and Teachers and also Academic
pricing. Or perhaps you ahve another product that will allow you to use the
PPT upgrade version.
