Can I delete Outlook Today and restore Outlook Express?

Outlook Today less efficient than Outlook Express. I want to delete the
Outlook Today program and all its unwanted links and restore Outlook Express
with my inbox and outbox pending mail and address list intact.

Have tried to send email to family and Outlook Today will not send, just
puts the email in the drafts folder.
