Can I dim an Image after animation in PowerPoint 2000?

I'm trying to show an image and then have it disappear to bring another image
in over top. Is this possible in PowerPoint 2000?

Click Slide Show > Custom Animation.
On the dialog box, there is an "After animation" section under effects tab.
You can select the animated object, click on the "After animation" dropdown
field and set it to "Hide After Animation". This will have the object
disappear after its animation.

As Tohlz says. But "hide on next click" might be easier to control as you can
use the click to start the entrance of image 2. Pity you havent got XP as its
MUCH easier to get this effect!

Did that answer the question / help?
