Can I export messages from 2003 to 2002

I had problems with contacts in Office 2003 Upgrade Norwegain, so I went back
to Office 2002 Prof Norwegian Full version. But, when I tried to import PST
file made in 2003, it did not acceptet the files. Had also copied some mails
to the desktop, but it did not recognise the files when I tried to read them
or when I tried to drag it in to Outlook. What am I doing wrong??

If you are using the new Unicode format for your Outlook 2003 .pst file, you
will need to create a 97-2002 .pst file and copy (drag/drop) your Outlook
2003 items to the folders you create in the 97-2002 format to be able to
reuse them in an earlier version that Outlook 2003.
