Can I make gridlines visible on top of graphics and images?

Is it possible to have gridlines appear visible on TOP of my images and
graphic elements? It seems the lines are always behind these objects
and I really need to be able to see them.

Thanks in advance for your help!

If you want gridlines on top of your images, I'd suggest drawing lines on
the document and place all of your graphics behind it.

Well, the problem with that is that I don't want the lines to actually
print. That's the beauty of the gridlines.

I'm needing to line up some graphics that overlap, so the gridlines are
not visible when an object has been placed on top of them. It's
definitely an inconvenience, so I was hoping there'd be a quick way to
see the gridlines on top of the objects.

Thanks anyway!
