Can I revert to the Office 2003 menu structure

Hate the new Office 2007 menu structure. Is there a way to revert to the
classic Office 2003 menu structure

I suggest that you get with the plan. I am a House Call Tech for our
computer club. All members in our club live in an age restricted community
(age 55+). I have found that there is little demand for instant
gratification among the more that 1,000 members. They work their way through
new interfaces and many have come to love the ease of formatting in Word.

Regrettably, if you want to use Office 2007, you're stuck with the Ribbon
(aka Fluent UI). I used the trial version for a while and then decided to
revert to Office 2003. Excel kept crashing intermittently and I found the UI
to be illogical, confusing and therefore counterproductive. BTW, I'm a long
time Office apps user. Despite many calls from users to provide a classic UI
option, MS has refused to do so. If you want to use Office 2007, you take
what they dish out. Judging by Gates' comments in public, you'll be seeing
more of the Ribbon in the future. Hence, I'm evaluating OpenOffice and Zoho
as alternatives for the future.

If you want to let Jensen Harris (he led the effort that resulted in the
Ribbon), post your opinion on his blog.

BTW, since I reverted to Office 2003, Excel has stopped crashing and is
visibly faster.

HTH!
