Can I save large publisher documents in smaller page increments?

I have a large Publisher 2003 document that, when saved as one file, locks up
my computer. Our tech guy told me to save it in smaller parts. I was hoping
to save it in 5-page increments, but that doesn't seem to be possible.
Anyone have any ideas on how to do this more simply than just dragging,
deleting, adding, etc.. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

No simple way. Obviously you can open the file, delete all but five pages, save
as a new name. You can delete from the page tabs. Open the main file again
delete all but a different five pages, save as a new name and so on...

Might turn off detailed display for your pictures, use fast resize and zoom
instead or turn off the picture display altogether. View, pictures... Maybe an
updated graphics driver.
