Can I use multiple resouces for 1 task?

I am using Project 2000 and am struggling trying to allocate more than 1
resource for a task. Am I allowed to do this, and if so how?

Formgirl,
Yes, you can assign as many resources as needed to any given task.
Assuming you have already entered the resources onto the Resource Sheet,
probably the easiest way is to select the task and then hit the Assign
Resources icon (two heads) on the standard toolbar. In the Assign
Resources window that pops up you will see all of the resources listed.
Simply enter either a decimal or percent in the Units column and hit
"Assign" each time.

It sounds like you are relatively new to Project. May I suggest you take
a look at a series of Project topics by one of my fellow MVPs, Mike
Glen. Go to the MVP website at:
http://www.mvps.org/project/links.htm
and click on the link to Mike's series of lessons and techniques.

Hope this helps.

John,

Unfortunately I have not worked with Project for years and I have forgotten
a lot. Thank you for your time in responding to my question. I will look
into the link that you sent also.

Farmgirl,
You are welcome. Good luck with your re-introduction to the wonderful
world of Project :)
