Can I use multiple resource pools?

I want to reflect and roll up the group organisation structure in my company.
I'd like group managers to hold resource pool info for their teams
individually, and then allow projects to resource from them.
Is this possible? I seem to only be able to find descriptions of a single
central resource pool.....

No, of course you don't need!
My main customer works the way you suggest (one pool per first line manager)
and that wqorks fine.
But mind you, you cannot create a second level - each PROJECT can only have
one pool!

Hmm, that's quite a limitation.
We're too big for a single centralised resource pool, and too small for
everything not to affect everything else.
I'll have to look elsewhere..
